Demo day and market photos

Don't forget, ABF members, you can pick up postcards for the November sale at our tent and do some shopping at the market. I got some beautiful hanging baskets today, one for $10! Plus there is lots of fresh farm produce and B.C. fruit. OMG! don't forget the cupcakes! Here are some older photos including a shot at our last meeting and some pictures I took in May at the market. B-B-Q plans are in the works and it will be in August. I will send an email with the details when they are firm. Can't wait!

I took this picture of a bunch of potted hydrangeas in May at the Market. Sadly, I was rushing and it was out of focus so I made this out of focus shot into an 'oil painting' using my photo program. Click on it to really see the oil painting effect. Cool eh!

City Market 2009

Hello Everyone!
This is the first blog update for 2009! ……and my first ‘blog’ ever!

As many of you may already know, a group of us ABF members have been sharing a booth at the downtown City Market since May. So far, it has been a huge success and a wonderful opportunity to inform the public about our group and our upcoming sale in November! The market crowd has been great and very enthusiastic. Not to mention spending the day with fellow ‘flies’ has been a great way to get to know each other better outside of the meetings!

Below is a list of artist’s dates for the remaining 2009 season. We are typically located on the east side of the block north of 102 Avenue on 104 Street. The outdoor market has such a nice atmosphere, and there are a number of fantastic vendors, so please come down and visit us on a Saturday this Summer or Fall!
